It’s at night, you’re watching the TV and you’re bored to death. It’s the same as always: the girl gets in trouble, the heroic man saves her and they fall in love with each other. The good guy wins and the bad guy gets punished. The good guy is gorgeous and the bad guy is horrendous, of course. Ad break. Then you start thinking: who am I going to save? Or who is going to save ME? You take your phone out, look at some posts then forget about it completely. You’re alone. You turn off the TV, brush your teeth then go to sleep. You wake up early so you can be fresh when you go back to the hamster wheel. But tonight is different. You wake up in a world where anything is possible. You wake up in a world where you’re not alone. You wake up in a world where you don’t want to sleep because reality is better than your wildest dreams. This is our reality.

Savage Works variety company has performed for the third time this year at the Zsolnay Light Festival in Pécs. In our performances, we strive for innovation, entertainment and delight. UV body painting – as mentioned in the title of the piece – is an essential part of the show. Diána Sándor, one of the founding members of Savage Works, excels not only as a performer, but also as a costume designer. The music is the creation of Karolina Zengei, better known as DJ Zelina. Kata Hegyi presents her skills on the hoop and on the ground as well. Attila Szemán has worked with us before: in our show called MAZE. But in this one we can get to see a new side of him. What is the show about? Well, we would rather leave this question unanswered. What we can say, however, is that instead of analyzing the usual male-female relationships, we shed a completely new light on the dynamics of relationships.

Savage Works' Folding Spaces brings two exciting eras to life - the old and the new 20s - using various art forms and different skills of the performers . Mdern dance, salsa, charleston, acrobatics, a live band and the presence of singers create an exciting atmosphere on stage. The costumes are authentic, and the set – as the title of the show suggests – can be turned into itself and shaped in different ways.

Savage Works – MAZE guides you into a maze of words literally and figuratively. viewers. The piece tells different stories that come together by the end of the evening, forming a whole. Singing, acrobatics, dancing and aerobatics, MAZE is a play of light, and provides a unique experience for the audience with the combined visual world of light painting. With all its performances, Savage Works innovates, searches, experiments and discovers: come and get to know the latest creation of the first variety company of Pécs.
